On my recent trip to Canada I discovered Blue Calla bag patterns. This is The Lavender Cosmetic Tote. The Lavender cosmetic tote comes in 2 sizes: Small - 9.25" W x 6" H x 5" D; and Large - 10.25" W x 8" H x 5" D. It has a top carry handle and a flap closure with zippers on both sides as well as a magnetic snap fastener. You can use laminated cotton instead of quilting cotton to make a waterproof lining for a cosmetic bag. You could also make the large size with laminated cotton on both the lining and the exterior and swap your foam interfacing for insul-brite to make a lunch bag. The possibilities are endless!
