If you are a fan of William Morris historical design then you will have heard of Michele Hill. She has made a career out of bringing William Morris into the quilting world with a wonderful range of patterns that she has adapted from original William Morris designs. This is the William Morris Revisted applique pattern. The finished quilt is approximately 64" x 64". Inspiration for this quilt comes from the style associated with the Arts & Crafts movement. The centre panel was inspire by one of William Morris's partners. John Dearie. One of the floral blocks can be found on an original Morris & Co fabric panel on display in the Art Gallery of South Australia.
