This is the lovely quilt design Sliding Shoji Screens by Robin Pickens. There are two quilt designs in this pattern. Both quilts finish at 60" x 74" each. This pattern uses large horizontal panels, reminiscent of sliding Japanese screens, to showcase bold and large scale fabrics or for a modern modular approach. The pattern uses jelly roll strips for piecing the dividing lines to save time and cutting. What is great about this pattern is from a simple cutting structure you have enough rectangular panels to make Quilt A and if desired, add large panel yardage to make companion Quilt B. Pick your fabric and create like I did with some Asian influence fabric I had stored away for awhile.
