This is the Junior Strip Tube Ruler (TM) from Cozy Quilt Designs. The ruler has been designed to be used with Cozy Quilt Designs Strip Club patterns which use 2 1/2" strips. Using this ruler helps you make accurate half-square triangles quickly and is perfect to use with strips. The ruler can make squares from 1" through 6". You may be wondering why is this ruler yellow when its normally clear. Cozy Quilt Designs entered into a licensing agreement with Victorian Textiles in Australia last year.
You may be wondering why is this ruler yellow when its normally clear. Cozy Quilt Designs entered into a licensing agreement with Victorian Textiles in Australia last year and they now produce the Strip Tube rulers at their factory in Australia in the yellow plastic they use for all of their rulers and templates. A couple of benefits having a yellow ruler vs clear plastic. The first is the markings are etched into the plastic instead of being stamped on to the plastic. The second benefit is with the yellow plastic, you may find it easier to see through the ruler as you're lining it up to use on fabric colours that may benefit from not having just clear plastic.
