What's New (18 October 2024)
Our latest order has arrived from the US. Instead of new designer we have a new manufacturer of interfacing and related products Lazy Girl Designs. We have also have a bumper crop of new patterns from Cozy Quilt Designs. And of course the latest releases from Elizabeth Hartman, By Annie, yes we finally have the Drop Zone patter. New patterns from Ribbon Candy Company, Coach House Designs and more. Oh and did I mention some new patterns for Christmas as well as Halloween? Check out all the new arrivals at the What's New? Shop. Almost forgot, we have restocked a large number of By Annie patterns as well favourite Cozy Quilt patterns and more.
What's New? (18 September 2024)
We're just back from visiting family and friends in Canada and as we like to do, we keep a look out for new Canadian quilt designers that we can bring back to offer at The Practical Quilter. On this visit we discovered Highway 10 Designs the brain child of Kathy Schwartz and Lori Suss who met in Flin Flon, Manitoba at a local guild meeting in 2003. From here Kathy and Lori started their design journey by designing their own quilt pattern to use as a Mystery project to be presented at their respective quilt guilds which then went on to spark the start of their design business. That project was their first pattern called Alternate Routes which we now stock at The Practical Quilter. From there Highway 10 Designs was born, named after the highway that connects the towns they now both live in. Check out the What's New? Shop for the designs we now stock.
