The Practical Quilter
The Practical Quilter is a new concept shopping experience for the New Zealand Quilter with the sole focus of offering the supplies and accessories needed to make amazing quilts, bags or other textile items.
Celebrate Spooky Season with a sampler quilt featuring Ghost, Bat, Cat, Witch, Star, Pumpkin, Owl, Spider, Candy Corn, and Candy Roll blocks. Everything is made using conventional patchwork techniques. No paper piecing! Happy Halloween includes instructions for making a 34" x 42" Small Quilt with one of each block, or a 66"x 82" Large Quilt with four of each block. The blocks in my sample quilts were made with 18 Kona Solids, which are listed on the pattern back and on the fabric chart inside the pattern. The pattern also includes detailed lists of the pieces needed for each block, so it's easy to substitute scraps and use what you have.
