The Practical Quilter
The Practical Quilter is a new concept shopping experience for the New Zealand Quilter with the sole focus of offering the supplies and accessories needed to make amazing quilts, bags or other textile items.
This is the Petal Junction Paper Quilt Pattern. As you gaze along the bolts of fabrics in your local quilt shops you may notice more large-scale directional prints catching your attention (and possibly following you home). Petal Junction was designed to highlight these lovely prints and keep the print direction upright. Made using your favorite Fat Quarter or Half Yard bundle. Sizes include Toddler, Lap, Throw, Twin, Double, Queen and King.
Background can be made with one fabric, or a selection of low volume fat quarters or scrappy! Looks great with either a light or dark background, this can be seen in our photo gallery. Instructions includes a fabric saving bonus idea for using the leftover corner triangles. The instructions and methods included in this pattern are suitable for an experienced beginner. (We do not recommend you try this pattern for your first quilt.)
