The Practical Quilter
The Practical Quilter is a new concept shopping experience for the New Zealand Quilter with the sole focus of offering the supplies and accessories needed to make amazing quilts, bags or other textile items.
The Practical Quilter is closed for a short break from Saturday, 31 May 2025 and will reopen on Saturday, 14 June 2025.
The Atomic Starburst Tree Skirt pattern combines Violet Craft's distinctive aesthetic and her Atomic Starburst design element in a captivating tree skirt pattern that blends midcentury charm with the festive spirit of Christmas. The design combines foundation paper pieced starburst blocks with traditional sashing in a circular shimmer of starbursts and diamonds.
Pattern includes instructions for two sizes and two shapes for a total of four options, circular or hexagon at 46" or 60" in diameter. Instructions assume a knowledge of foundation paper piecing. Pattern includes foundation templates printed front and back so you will not accidentally use your pattern in the making process. Templates will need to be copied or traced before use on 8.5" x 11" paper.
